Delrin® Acetal is a highly-crystalline engineering thermoplastic used in high load mechanical applications. It is characterized by its high strength, hardness and rigidity to −40 °C. Found intrinsically opaque white, due to its high crystalline composition, but it is available in all colors.
Lexan has better insulation properties than glass and is inherently high impact making it an excellent candidate for glazing for economical protection against breakage or intrusion. Opaque sheet options combine for ease of thermoforming or cold forming.
Nylon is a generic designation for a family of synthetic polymers, based on aliphatic or semi-aromatic polyamides. Nylon is a thermoplastic silky material that can be melt-processed into fibers, films, or shapes. It is made of repeating units linked by amide links similar to the peptide bonds in proteins.
Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene is the standard for engineered polymers with a unique combination of wear and corrosion resistance, low friction surface and impact strength. Excellent resistance to chemical attack and moisture absorption, outstanding abrasion resistance and a low coefficient of friction.
